 ♢ Overview ♢

A small species of dragons, which in feral form, are about the size of a dog. They are 90% fructivorous, and 10% insectivorous. They all love sweets, and their poop is swirled pastel colors like ice cream.

Draconillies prefer to live in high, mountainous regions, specifically in cavernous mountains. Their eyes are adapted to near complete darkness, but the rely more heavily on echolocation. Primarily communicate with body language and 'clicks' that they pick up with their large ears. The membranes underneath their ears serve as extra sensors for movement and can pick up the slightest of vibrations. As such they are very sensitive! Do not touch, because it can be painful!!!

In their anthropormorphic form, draconillies are capable of human speech.

Owners are free to change design between feral and anthropormorphic forms, however the two forms must be treated as the same design.

♢ Society♢

They are very social creatures, living in colonies of up to 50 draconillies. In the wild, they form a hierarchial colony under a queen. Although it is not required that they stay with their species/colonies, a draconilly will get lonely very easily and require near constant socialization to stay happy. More introverted draconillies still enjoy the company of individuals- and are more than happy to be 'pets'!

♢ Physiology ♢

Draconillies tend to experience sexual attraction to many individuals at once. They enjoy recreational sex year-round, but when looking to mate, each draconilly will take a single mate per mating season. Draconillies are born in litters of three or more, and the mates go their separate ways once the pups are weaned. It's not uncommon for Draconillies to travel to other colonies during mating seasons in order to keep blood from mixing.

♢ Traits are described head to toe. ♢

Large, bat-like ears sit atop a draconilly's head. The deep ear channels pick-up the slightest of noises, working in tandem with the membranes that sprout from the base of a draconilly's ears. These membranes pick up vibrations on any frequency, allowing a draconilly to maneuver perfectly through advanced darkness.

Each draconilly has one horn growing from its forehead. These horns vary in size, shape, and color-- from curved, to swirled, to sharp, or nubby and blunt. These horns grow in once a draconilly reaches adolescence, and do not regrow if damaged or cut.

Draconilly face structure is that of a short-snouted dragon, with chubby, round cheeks. Their eyes are able to see in the dark, emitting a soft glow even without a light source. The irises are ringed. They possess sharp teeth to pierce insect carapaces, or tough fruit skins. With hard shelled fruits like melons or coconuts, they drop them from high places to crack them open. Draconilly tongues are capable of extending up to one foot. These tongues are strong and dexterous, allowing the dragon to grab hard to reach things, or flying insects. The tongue's coloration is commonly striped.

Draconilly wings do not allow for extended flight, but they are useful in gliding and mid-air maneuvering. Powerful front and hind legs allow draconillies to jump high and far, and they use their thick tails to aid in balance.

Although harder to detect on ferals, all draconillies have six nipples located on the breast.

All draconillies are covered in a suede-like soft fur, and their neck fur extends along the spine to form a mane.

Both feral and anthro. forms of draconillies are digitigrade, walking on their toes.

NOTE: At this time, no draconillies are canonically permissed to have naturally ocurring appendages NOT LISTED in this infosheet. I.e. No extra bits are allowed. However, owners are not required to follow species lore 100%.
