traits: Ever been around someone who thinks they're better than everyone else in the world? How about someone who considers themselves a god? How about the only adult worthy of living, who thinks of himself as not corrupt, and the only one capable of raising children the way they need to be raised? Welcome to Lord Valentine's way of thinking. He's got a serious God complex and won't let anyone tell him differently. Try to do such a thing, and he'll have you hunted down and killed, or just make your life a living Hell. He sees foals and yearlings as holy, and is convinced they need to be raised a certain way, before the unholy adults can drag them down into the dark depths of Hell. He'll do anything to get his hands on a colt or filly, will work his magic on them, brainwash them into worshiping him and doing whatever it is he tells them to do. Only then can they be seen as 'holy' in his eyes. Only those that have been blessed by him may live with him, and anyone who attempts to stop his plans will have a wild stampede of angry children and those that think of themselves as children coming at them, lead by the one who sees everything as dirty and contaminated. He's a sick individual.

history Incredibly, Lord Valentine had a perfectly normal childhood. The herd he lived in was open to every alliance, and to horses that did not alliance themselves into any sort of group, so there was a good mixture of drama and fights every now and again but nothing too tragic. It really makes you wonder how he turned out to be the way he is. Truth is, there just isn't an answer to that question. The world may never know what caused Lord Valentine to snap and become the terrible monster that he is today. He went from being a completely normal, average, everyday stallion to a "god" on the search for new young ones to snatch up virtually overnight to teach his new religion, which was the reason he got kicked out of his old herd. Mothers and fathers were disgusted about the way he acted and told the herd leaders that they would refuse to tolerate him being near their children. When they kicked him out, Lord Valentine did not go quietly. He proclaimed himself as a god and claimed that everyone but himself and children were unholy. It took twenty equines just to get him to leave but once he was gone, Lord Valentine never turned back. He had much bigger and better things to do - like spread his sick, twisted 'religion' on to others.

Upon coming to Wild Equines, he ran into a gentleman by the name of Aranu (Indi) while out in the free lands. He attacked him but soon after, a tiny angel appeared. Talia (Indi), an infant angel that he had met once before. She removed the memories of Aranu from Lord Valentine's mind, allowing the Light King to escape... (thread in progress).

A couple of months after his run in with Aranu (Indi) he decided to challenge for a land. He went to Permafrost Valley, lead by Ullrick (Tor) and Kitten (Kal). Kitten (Kal) met his challenge but instead of fighting, the two made a deal. He would be allowed to have a subland and he would leave the mainland alone so long as they never banished him for anything that he did. Kitten (Kal) agreed to the terms and Lord Valentine established the Cornfield..

While out in the Free Lands again one day, a miracle (his own words) happened - he was reunited with his most devout follower, Zenadia (Indi). She was older then, about a year and a half now, but she was small and delicate and beautiful. He quickly and easily convinced her to come home with him, assuring her that she would not be Unholy since she was still devout in her religion. He took her to the Cornfield... (thread in progress)
