Lacie was born as the only daughter and only child within her family. Her mother was a retired famous singer and her father was a businessman. With that, Lacie was well off, her family was quite wealthy. Despite this, she wasn't much of a spoiled child, at least attitude wise. Her parents cared for her greatly and showered her in lots of love and affection, often taking days off if they could to spend time with their daughter.

As a child, Lacie had always been inspired by her mother to become a famous singer like her. She spent a lot of time with her mother, taking singing and vocal lessons. Lacie was a very shy child and had a difficult time making friends during elementary and middle school, that was until she became friends with Kibo, a boy from her class that often accompanied her on her walk home after school.

Unfortunately due to her father's work, Lacie had to move away, leaving her new freinds behind and beginning a new start somewhere else. As she grew older she decided to move again, to New New Leaf, finding it the perfect opportunity for her to start her singing career.
