In a world where the potential of Remnant and Agony no longer remains untapped, a new disease runs rampant as crime rates increase and people mysteriously disappear from busy city streets without a trace, only to be found brutally murdered. The creatures afflicted by this disease are called "Cursed" and treat humans as prey, though many of them are hardly distinguishable from a normal human being as it stands. Cursed crave Remnant, despite its origin and extraction methods being more than unsavoury. But the incredible substance blesses them with enough to make it worth to those who wish to tread down this path, despite cursing them to an empty, lonely life of immortality and endless hunger, they willingly plunge themselves into the abyss to taste its power.
