Born on the outskirts of Ul'Dah and raised through a generally normal childhood, Ankh lost his parents at a young age. At only 10 summers old he was adopted into a small trading family. Ended up having quite a knack for it and went on to turn the family business into a successful, profitable enterprise. Loves talking their way through trade deals and the like, dabbling in the city's politics here and there with surprising finesse. Underneath that smiling exterior Ankh has a wild side, his magic lending him the chance at destruction and mayhem. Sometimes his business partners vanish, only to be found as charred remains and hushed with plentiful coin. Lacking in remorse once the deeds are done, he goes about usurping the leaderless businesses as his own.
