An energetic trainer originally from Unova with a passion for water and surfing, they moved to the Alola region for the access to sunny, isolated and pristine beaches. Ironically, despite their love for water they only have one water-type pokémon.

Not a lot of things get Naru down, they have an intensely positive outlook and they tend to be in a good mood more often than not. It took them many years to be comfortable in their own skin and now that they are, they live every day to the fullest. Carpe diem!

• They work as a graphic designer, creating eye-catching and fun pokémon themed logos for businesses, restaurants, supermarkets and grocery stores.
• Naru isn't too fond of random Pokémon battling and will avoid it when possible with the exception of wild encounters. They dislike people who will stop and force someone who's minding their business to battle.
• Though they'd weakly deny it, Naru is somewhat of an adrenaline junkie. They love surfing, rollerskating, hikes and being active overall when they have the time.
• Naru likes to use roller skates to move around and they wear shoes with detachable blades. If they need to go faster then their Boltund pulls them. They may or may not have broken a few bones as a result of going a little faster than they should and learned, the hard way, to wear protective gear. Eventually.
