Syl

Backstory:

Syl is a young fairy woman whose wings were forcibly removed by a group of human bandits. For a while, she was furious at the loss of her wings, seeking vengeance from those who hurt her, even learning sword fighting over the years. However, she found that she could be just as happy with her life without her wings. She now lives her days travelling the land, using her skill in herbalism to make medicines for the people of various towns. 

Personality:

Syl has a generally sweet disposition, trying to be as kind as she can to everyone. She's quite the optimist as well, with the mindset that any problem can be solved if you think hard enough. She is definitely not a pushover however, and will speak her mind if somebody pisses her off or says something that isn't correct. She is confident in her abilities, and knows that despite being quite small she can still take on an attacker or heal any wound. Her biggest weakness is her emotions and her need to put others before herself, as well as her insecurity about the loss of her wings and magical abilities.

Some facts about her variety of fairy:

They are born from trees and plants, so they have no concept of gender or anything of that sort! They are all feminine-presenting, and most use she/her pronouns. All their magical ability is stored in their wings. (Syl's weren't completely removed, so she still has minor magical abilities.) Most have brightly colored hair depending on what sort of plant they were born from, and all have black eyes. (Syl was born from a peach tree!)
