Agent Three
Story
Agent 3 was selected by Cap'n Cuttlefish to save Inkopolis — because they're the only person who took his inane ramblings about Octarians seriously. There were few people willing to follow an old man into the sewers and Agent 3 only did so because they were bored. Surprisingly, they were quite skilled at thwarting the Octarian army and retrieving zapfish; returning the Great Zapfish to Inkopolis only after a month of going on missions.
Not only was the Octarian army and DJ Octavio defeated by a single inkling in such little time, they were defeated by a screw up, which delivered a devastating blow to the morale of soldiers loyal to the Octarian cause.
Personality
Three is a laid back inkling who is also a bit of a wisecracker. They get satisfaction out of protecting Inkopolis solely because they're quite bored all the time. Other people find their flippant behavior frustrating, especially since they're frequently tactless and condescending without meaning to be.
Yelli
Background
Yelli lives in Inkopolis at home and rent free. They do not have much passion for any sort of work or schooling and are usually found slacking off or playing videogames. Sometimes they offer "advice" to younger inklings that happen to meet them, pretending they're an older mentor figure while talking about how much they have their life together, and that someday they'll be in the big movies.
Yelli feels that the NSS gives them purpose and doesn't mind the lack of recognition for saving Inkopolis, though they do smugly tell people they should thank them for saving their lives without elaborating at all. No one knows what they're talking about and assumes it's some weird joke.
They also smoke weed.
