Ladubugtor is the confident, vain ruler of the Tor Brood. She was raised by her mother to believe that she was better than other cats, more blessed and more powerful than the common cats of the Broods. She rules the Tor Brood strictly, punishing even the slightest infractions to the Code. She leads selfishly, only thinking for the Tor Brood and not for her neighboring Broods. In fact, she’s been known to lead battles against the Hollow Brood to absorb their territory. Due to her nine lives and position of power over her Brood, she sees herself as invincible. This recklessness occasionally leads her to neglect the safety of other cats. This overconfidence led to the death of her firstborn son, Gnatcatcher, after she insisted they continue their patrol even after the weather took a dangerous turn. He was caught by a flash flood and drowned, with Ladybugtor losing a life trying to save him.
