Grandiose Arcana
A creature of potent magics and the wisdom of endless lifetimes, this dragon has taken the role of lorekeeper and has immense knowledge of secret spells and rituals. It collects rare scrolls and tomes; much arcane knowledge has vanished into its possession. Many selfish knights, mages, and thieves have attempted to breach its magically-fortified castle lair to plunder its scholarly hoard, but none have succeeded. Old stories claim that a king's army marched on its gates and was ultimately forced to turn away after a year-long siege.
Great wizards throughout the ages claim to have been pupils to the lorekeeper, and all say that the castle gates open easily for anyone that seeks knowledge with pure intentions and a light heart.
Its vibrant feathers are considered magical artifacts, each one containing an immense supply of magical energy. Its horns are suspected to contain enough power to make a thousand men immortal.
