Nanami Asagao is a ninja of Kiri-Gakure and a Jonin. She doesn't come from a special clan, so it was special for her family that nanami decided to become a ninja. Coming from a non-ninja family Nanami lived with a lot and care for other people and had problems with the military-academy system. However her specialty are defensive actions and jutsu like Water-Wall which she uses to protect her mates and loved one. Her main weapon is a hammer-glove she can strenghten with water-element chakra and let it grow.
Nanami fought in the 3rd Ninja world war and was on the defensive line. She protected Akio, who was actual a strong Katana user. He was impressed that a woman can be so strong. After that they became friends and Nanami slowly changed his mind.
She is the Sensei of Team 15. Her Students are Chion Hatou, Shiro Shinrei and Shuin Kagarashi.
In Boruto is married to Akio and has one child she cares for. She still works as a ninja but only does easy missions for chunin to stay close to her family.
