A legend among people of Archadia, Ashazara resides in the desert named after him by the people that live both in and around his territory. A hulking presence and agile hunter, very few have the nerve to trifle with him in his own domain. He is not commonly found or seen in places other than his territory, and he defends it with ferocity and diligence. Highly intelligent despite being one of the few Dragons left in the world that have any claim on territory, many fear him even in this new age of Ancients.

While one can always trust that Asha will defend his territory with all his strength, Asha is not very trusting of other's abilities and natures. He has no self-declared "friends" or even enemies, rather he treats everyone with the same disdain and wariness equally. Those that trespass in the more private locations of his territory will be chased out, while those that reside in the desert he dwells in know better than to dare. He leaves the citizens of the Ashazara desert well enough alone, and for the most part they believe they have nothing to fear from him. A few will leave offerings of peace where they know he will find it, while others watch their backs during any amount of travel. He's rather predictable when it comes to interactions, but even so the result is always the same.
Background
Very little is known about Ashazara's origins or lineage. He's one of the oldest and most well-known entities in Archadia, the desert that is named after him a testiment to that. Researchers and adventurers have attempted to discover his origins and information about him, but very little can be gleened from the great distance he holds them at. A major influencer of known history, Ashazara is an unwilling peacekeeper between the three great empires of Archadia, his desert effectively separating them in critical areas. None dare to confront each other in his territory, for any army marching through the desert is likely to be lost.

Where sand would hinder any other creature, it only seems to allow Ashazara to move swifter, practically gliding over the golden sands.

The roar of it's protector can be heard throughout the entirety of the Ashazara desert, striking fear into it's inhabitants hearts.

The sharp gaze of Ashazara is enough to freeze even the most brave of explorers completely still in fear.

When the cycle of life and death reaches it's pinnacle, Ashazara is there to dismantle and devour it's victims.

Summary
Protector and King of the Ashazara desert, Ashazara is a fearless and devoted caretaker and guardian of it's sands and msot hidden treasures. Very few have earned the ability to plunder it's wealth of treasure and knowledge, and fewer still have been able to force or sneak their way in. Cunning and highly self-aware, Asha is not a dragon to be trifled with. The villages and city that claim the wastes their home live in a precarious balance with the deserts rightful ruler, and know better than to step out of bounds or cross into territory best left alone. Always prowling, and always watching, this dragon knows no fear for those that enter his domain.

- Completely immune to magic, Ashazara is capable of only sympathetic magic he is unable to control.
- There are very few who are able to cross the desert without drawing the attention of it's guardian, and those few are often employed as guides.
- While there are claims Ashazara is able to take an Ancient's form, it has never been 100% confirmed by witnesses.
- There is a rumor that he ingests sand as a primary food source in his diet.
