Notes: Summon is a 2'8 giant Weasel named Bubbles, made out of water

Their vision is worn on a hairpin on the back of their hair
Compared to most other adventures, Ester hadn't been too excited to become one. Being a Spantamad student, currently written as a Driyosh, or traveling researcher, they did enjoy the research aspect, but the fighting? The thrill of it all? Yeah, not for them. They would have been content to find their topic (a... surprisingly hard thing to do), and just pay a group to do the heavy work, and they could pop in after to get what they needed.
Unfortunately, Ester both didn't have any ideas, and didn't have any money. Originally, the trip to Mondstadt had been something more akin to a vacation, until the realization that their mora pouch had been getting lower had hit them. This wasn't helped by the letter arriving from the Akademiya, questioning when their break was going to end.
This led to them officially being listed as a Dryosh, which led to them being able to enlist in the adventures guild. Money, an excuse, and a research opportunity was a good trade-off, even if they didn't plan it at first.
Bubbles, their companion, is what prompted their vision to appear. Unfortunately, while the rules of life and death on Teyvat are concrete, the nature of hydro and it's powers can circumnavigate it, even just a little. Bubbles is an example of this, and part of what drove Ester to join the Akademiya.
