[F2U] bookshelf's Comments

I love this code sm!!! I just need help with 1 thing!

I'm trying to add more pages to the books but I can't figure out what I need to be copy/pasting and where?

OML i mentally replied to this but didn't actually??? i'm so sorry
copy everything between "pages 1 start" and "pages 1 end" and paste after "pages 2 end"
after that just change the respective numbers and you're good to go!

Just finished giving this code to my man here <3 I still need to write the text in the books- but I changed all the colors !! Hehe The notes in the code were quite helpful!! Thank you and himbocore !

This was so amazing omg thank you for making this!!

this code is absolutely lovely but i'm struggling to add books to it! how do you move the books around?

sorry i'm not the greatest at explaining but i'll try

books will stick to the left of the shelf in order (aside from the red book, which will always lock to the right)

to add books to the shelf, you can just copy and paste the first book button's code to the bookshelf and replace #bookOne to maybe #bookFive:

<a class="btn col justify-content-center p-2 " data-toggle="collapse" href="#bookFive" style="background-color:#333159;height:275px;max-width:65px;
background-image:linear-gradient(to right, #252443, rgba(0,0,0,0), #2f2d50, rgba(0,0,0,0), #252443);
border:solid #191832;border-width:2px 2px 2px 2px;overflow:hidden;">
<span class="my-3" style="font-family:times;position:absolute;text-shadow: 0px 0px 3px #654f2a;color:#a79576;">author</span>
<span class="my-3 align-self-center" style="transform:rotate(90deg);font-family:times;font-size:2rem;text-shadow: 0px 0px 3px #c4923c;color:#a79576"> NAME 1 </span>
</a>

(red part should be changed to whatever number you need)

then at the end of the book section, copy and paste the code of the actual book, and use ctrl+f to replace all instances of #bookOne, #coverOne, #pagesOne, #innercontentOne to be (let's say) #bookFive, #coverFive, #pagesFive, #innercontentFive

lmk if you need any more help ><

I figured out that much but for some reason it just shows up below the bookshelf? Am I placing the code wrong somewhere?

should work if you're putting it above the allocated section line ,, have you tried putting it between two preexisting books?

I have, maybe I'm just not reading it right. I'll give it another go later. Thanks for the help!

This is the code I've been searching for for so long! It'll be perfect for my library of tales around 1 character ♡♡ Thank you for making it!!

OH MY GOD??? THIS IS PERFECT FOR ORGANIZING RANDOM UNIVERSE LORE AAH!!! TYSM

I WAS JUST PRAYING FOR A CODE LIKE THIS THE OTHER DAY & THIS CAME IN OUT OF NOWHERE?!? You have ANSWERED my prayers!! If I end up using it & filling it out I'll definitely post/link it here!

one heard thy prayers and thee shall be answered. i'm excited to see what you do with it !!

The real question is, what is the book limit *dramatic sound*

if you don't use any slanted books; around 30 on desktop and 7 on mobile before it pushes onto the next line
but technically no limit if you copy+paste and make another row of shelving heheh
