Athena’s presence alone feels very imposing; her mathematical prowess and strict appearance alone make you quite fearful of her. However, she is really just a nerd with an obsession for math because that’s the only thing she believes she’s good at. She can be very sweet, although she’s not one to share her feelings for the most part.
Her parents were both incredibly intelligent people - her father a NASA engineer and her mother a lawyer. They put her up for adoption when she was 6, deciding she wasn’t worth their time and showed nowhere near the level of promise a truly intelligent kid would. When she was adopted at the age of 9, her adoptive parents ended up actually seeing that genius promise that seemed to isolate Athena from her peers. I guess sometimes you gotta wait for it..
