Backstory;

Beetle was born to a loving mother, she was sort of a hippie type, doing things more naturally than medicinally. However, there was a Clown Cult that was researching devils, the birth of Devil Fruits. They do a ritual where they assume his mother will die, however after the ritual, she gets 9 months pregnant immediately and they act confused. Suddenly, she goes into contractions and out pops a baby. Beetle looked normal and they all went on their merry way. She had a very carefree parenting style with him, whenever he would get hurt, he would repair himself nearly instantly. As he grew up, Beetle also took on a very carefree personality, dancing everywhere.

Beetle was kidnapped at a young age, taken to a CP9 program for genetic testing. He spent years being tested on, being taken to several different facilities when, at one point, he was in a facility where a Merfolk worked as a lab assistant and they escaped with a Lunarian. It lit a fire for Beetle, giving him hope for himself. Once they finally stopped doing genetic tests on him, they sent him to the CP9 program officially to train, he spent all of his time reading books and was clowned for it. Even his instructors tried to get him to stop reading. After healing and reading for years, he finds a way to build a bomb and he finally escapes, flipping off the people in the windows as he did. He makes his way to a Revolutionary Army base where he meets up with the Merperson, a human, a cyborg, a mink and a long arms tribesman. The 6 of them grow up together a bit and decide to become pirates together, being a part of a crew together! The Merperson becomes the captain, the human is the record keeper, the cyborg becomes the helmsman, the mink becomes the chef, the long arm tribesman becomes the shipwright and Beetle becomes the doctor.
