Based on dualism in the mind/body problem, in which the mind is (in some form) independent from the body. Also based on the Zombie Thought Experiment, which attempts to prove(?) that the mind is independent from the body by imagining a person waking up without any sensations one feels when waking up (basically person without the mind).
