Mimosae

Background:

Mimosae is the result of a coupling between a warden and a druid, both parents of prestigious background. Born with golden eyes (revered in kaldorei culture), and familial pressure for her to become a warden was too much for Mimosae. As an young adult, she faked her own death and went to the Eastern Kingdoms. There she disguised herself as a 'tall high elf' and worked in gnomish factories to avoid attention.

After a century of working at said factory, Mimosae is a knowledgeable engineer and mechanic. However she never really moved up far in the workplace ranks, as a result of one, not being a gnome, and two, not wanting to bring outside attention to her. Being such a long-lived being, Mimosae has on occasion, forgotten colleague deaths and mixed up others for their parents. Subject to tokenism and 'top shelf assistance', Mimosae never got close to any of her colleagues and has few friends.

Despite leaving her old life behind in Kalimdor, Mimosae's destiny seems to manifest as spectral moths that visit her some nights. The moths call to her to accept the gift of druidism, which Mimosae has actively avoided for so long. Over the years it has gotten progressively more apparent with larger spirit moths visiting every night. In the shape of lunar moths, she has the innate ability to become a similar moth to those that plague her. Mimosae consoles in long time friend, a draenei shaman who keeps urging her to find proper answers for such a reoccurring event.

During the most recent Burning Legion invasion, Mimosae's workplace is utterly destroyed, forcing her to find alternative work. Her friend suggests this is the best time to find the solution to her 'moth problem' as she is unlikely to be noticed in the chaos and 'they could die any day'. An unlikely druid, Mimosae finds herself placed as an apprentice to the Scythe of Elune bearer, Pavatti Cresthoof,

Notable traits:

• Always wearing her trademark goggles (to hide her golden eyes). Will wear them to sleep if she's in the company of others.
• Not very emotive, but often overtly exaggerated when she is emotive.
  
• A somewhat low and scruffy sounding voice. Often mumbles and thinks aloud.
• Dry, often sarcastic humour. Blunt, direct to the point in conversation.
