Noboru Akiyama

Hiroshi's Nephew

Decidedly outgoing, Noboru makes friends wherever he goes. His loud, and energetic nature often makes him seem unmannered and gets him chastised by older members of the family. 

Noboru is endlessly curious, and never holds back questions or exclamations of "look at that!"

Despite his enthusiasm, he is not very talented at anything (except naps!). He does not have his brother's sense of grace and coordination, and he struggles with feelings of inadequacy. To make up for this, he vows to be a loyal and loving friend to anyone that needs him- if he can't be good at anything else, then he will be the best at being your friend.

As a Cadet:

Without many prospects, Noboru joined the local military faction that regulates interplanetary trade and transportation. 

He is a dedicated and hardworking member, but is still plagued by a very clumsy nature. 

Mostly works as a mail carrier for the base, but is assigned a variety of tasks
