Xivil wants to end with the cities which were the main cause of the world destruction, and want to start all over believing that will fix all the problems.
He's caught and gets assigned to a mission in exchange of let him live.
One of the soldier help Taikuh on the mission, more likely to ensure he doesn't escape. They see three persons at the distance, who becomes on their next objective. They receive order from the general, but they're just for Taikuh, he needed to kill them, only him.
Taikuh's life is hanging by a thread, it's them or him. He accepts this forced decision and prepares to attack when the general gives the order.
He's sowly approaching to them, close enough see they were they were a woman a two kids.
They seemed to be lost, it felt unfair, for them and him, this world has been unfair since forever for everyone anyway.
He recieves the order to attack, he aims at her and in the blink of an eye, it was all over. It felt unreal, it really did.
It felt it was missing something, the kids disappeared. He thought he should warn the general about that, but before he could say anything, the general says the mission is done and gets released.
The soldier gets closer to tell him he's leaving and not to follow him.
Taikuh runs away leaving all behind.
As he walks away he starts feeling real dizzy, maybe because he hasn't eaten for days, maybe because of what just happened. Either way, he should be worrying about other things, like a safe place to stay before nightfall.
Tired of walking around, he sees someone at the distance approaching to him, he tries to run but isn't able to go faster after being exhausted of walking for a few hours, this mysterious person reaches to him asking for help.
Taikuh doesn't know what to do and tries to reject him, but he insists he really needs help. Taikuh gives up and accepts and asks what's wrong...
This person was Kyoh , he tells he was escaping from a recent attack in the city with his wife and his two kids. they argue along the way and end up taking different ways, separating from each other. He regrets leaving them, and decided to go back but he couldn't find them anymore.
He askes Taikuh to go with him, it's dangerous being alone.
A woman and two kids? Taikuh asked, who did they look?
as Kyoh describes their look.
Taikuh thinks for a moment, realizing the person he killed might be Kyoh's wife, everything was so messed up, it was the worst of the coincidences.
While Kyoh keeps insisting for his help, Taikuh finally accepts, without saying the truth, at least not for now.
And so they start an endless search for someone who is dead, or will the truth come to light?
