Comet

Comet is my fursona!! He is part of an original species called Comet Cats - kitties born from falling stars!! When someone makes a wish on a shooting star, the star becomes imbued with magic and, when the star falls to earth, a Comet Cat is born from the star that embodies that wish!! The star they're born from stays attached to them on the end of their tail and is the source of their magic.

In Comet's case, he was born from a wish for safety! Comet Cats do not usually need to eat (although they might choose to, and it is required much like normal cats when in their alternate form - see Ghost's profile). Instead, they are sustained via two main things. Primarily, they are kept alive by fulfilling the wish they were created for. So in Comet's case, making people feel comforted and creating a safe space for those who might be struggling!! They can also "recharge" by "star-bathing", absorbing starlight to sustain their magic :D
