Luan is a zombie residing on a farm in the countryside of Italy. He lives with some of his best friends, and pains in the neck. He serves as head of the household, being the one owning the deed to the land and owning the farm and it's business.

Luan was born in Egypt in 1806. in 1811, he was illegal transported to the states, sold as a slave. He worked for a wealthy family, often used as a butler. It was both unfortunate and fortunate for him that he'd been born with albinism. in 1825, Luan ran away from his owners, and fled to California. It was there that he met his soon-to-be Wife, Rayen, and convinced her to run with him, as she was also a slave. In 1849, a year later the beginning of the California Gold Rush, Luan set off to the mines to work, leaving behind his young daughter and wife, with the promise of coming home rich, and free. And while Luan did earn enough money to pay off his and his wife's debts, and to make him and his family wealthy, it was never enough. It was the spring of 1853 when a storm rolled around. Despite warning from all other miners, Luan stayed inside of the mines. From his perspective, while everybody else was gone, he could find even more gold, that nobody could take from him. The storm struck the mountain, the mine collapsed, and Luan was gone. A tragedy indeed.
