Tamarack

A stoic, anti-social Minotaur who hails from the Amberu Grasslands.  While an intimidating figure due to his size and demeanour, those who get him to open up find he is capable of being friendly and even talkative — although he has nobody he himself would consider close enough to call a ‘friend’.

Upon accidentally stumbling upon a the witch Isana’s treasure horde, Tamarack was given a ‘serve me or die’ order from the witch.  Fearing a magically charged death, he agreed.  Now he spends his days living in an old ruin, protecting the treasure from any outsiders or creatures that would see reason to take it.  His only companion is a small raccoon named Thief.
