The Angry Doll. Their name is a pun on "in a rage" / "enraged" and their design is based off of red velvet berry parfait.

PERSONALITY

While Ena is not as sadistic or cruel as some of the other dolls, their anger makes them an force to be reckoned with nonetheless. They do not care for the opinions of others unless they are extremely close. As both Kanami and Ena they are extremely independent in general and work alone, with a few rare exceptions. They are very analytical and quick to work things out.

They shield themselves with anger and lash out when they are particularly hurt, and at this point they feel empty without their anger. Internally they feel a sense of bitter loneliness, not only because their beloved was murdered and they are isolated from their family but also because they are trapped in ASU-NARO's cultish grasp since they were prying too much. They wanted to live a normal, blissfully ignorant life, and they hate that they had been so investigative and detail-oriented so as to find evidence of ASU-NARO's crimes. As such, they destroy everything they can so as to erase it from their mind and keep them from looking into it deeper because that is what ruined their life.

They have a soft spot, but only for children, which is because of them having two much younger siblings that they care deeply about. As such, while they do dislike the participants, they dislike Kanna and Gin a bit less.

After Yuuka was murdered and ASU-NARO threatened them with the deaths of their family, effectively holding them hostage, they weren't sure what to do with their life and so threw themselves fully into the identity of Floormaster. Often they have suicidal ideations because they feel that if they would just disappear, their family would be in no danger. If they had never been born, Yuuka would never have gotten killed because of them.

As Kanami, they weren't outright cruel, but were very brusque and it came off as hostile. With their loved ones, they were more gentle, though they considered themself unlikable. 

HISTORY

BACKGROUND

Kanami Akabane was a researcher at ASU-NARO who took the job because it paid well and seemed more accepting. (When ASU-NARO had taken interest in them, they pulled some strings and got them fired from their old job due to their gender identity, then made themselves seem like a more open-minded group in comparison.)

They and their partner, Yuuka Yamato, lived in an apartment not too faraway from Kanami's family, often visiting Kanami's two younger siblings whom they particularly adored. Kanami and Yuuka wore casual couple rings, as they could not legally get married.

Eventually, Kanami grew suspicious of ASU-NARO's less savory activities and began compiling notes and evidence of their crimes. They were able to keep it a secret until they were one day called away for an urgent matter and left their things all over the desk, including their notes. Sou Hiyori (Midori) came across the notes and figured out what Kanami was doing, and of course he had to teach them a lesson so that they wouldn't go to the police. 

Sou cleared out all of the evidence Kanami had collected. He then kidnapped and drugged Yuuka, brought her to the locker room on the fifth floor, and placed a collar on her. Then, activating the room, the magnetic attraction from the ceiling yanked her upwards and killed her via hanging, though additionally her neck snapped. Sou then called Kanami on their phone when they returned to their desk and instructed them to go to the locker room, where they found Yuuka's dead body. Sou deactivated the room and she fell to the ground. 

As Kanami held Yuuka's body in their arms in a state of shock and disbelief, Sou's voice came over the intercom. He threatened them with the idea that if they went to the police and ratted out ASU-NARO, their younger siblings would meet the same fate as Yuuka. And so, Kanami was effectively trapped within ASU-NARO. 

Isolated from everyone but this organization, they turned their anger into a floormaster identity named Ena Reidge. With this they could constantly rage over their hurt and hatred of ASU-NARO and of the world and everyone else would find it normal for the character. Their identity as Ena became their new life and they began to prepare for their role in the Death Game. 

Luckily, instead of having hallucinations (as often happens to YTTD characters. poor guys) Kanami began to have dreams where Yuuka left them before their death could happen. While these dreams saddened them because their lover was breaking up with them, part of them also wished they were real, so that Yuuka would never have had to die.
