Sanaa never knew of her birth father, and her mother, althou loved her daughter, was always distant in a way. As a way to counter this lack of attention, she embarked on a personal ques to make sure she was to be noticed, often being the reckelss and rambucious of the group of cubs of her pride.

Who would have though that rebellious runaway attitude of her would safe her life one day.

In one of her adventures she got lost, and by the time she found her way back to her pride she encountered a massacre scene: all her pride were butchered by hyenas, and the smell was still strong, so probably they were still around. She just, slowly and really afraid from the first time, started to sob and to go back from where she came.

And so she just returned to her secret place, where she hanged around, hoping all was a bad dream and her mom would come pick her up, scold her and she would apologize and be a better daughter from now on. Unfortunately it didn't happened. She would have died if it wasn't because, by sheer luck, a pair of lions were going around those caves, hearing her sobs and sniffles and smellling the dry blood on her fur. They just couldn't leave her there, so they took her in.

• She was originally created by YESUNG9 as part of the locked bloodline of King Ikeno. However, after Yesung was found to be a nasty person, she was redesigned for the Mlima Pride RPG by a member of the staff. This iteration of the character does no longer has any ties with the group.
• There was a sighly marking added to her eyes, to mirrow her adopted father figure own ones. While they don't share bloodline I found it to be quite a cool detail to add.
• I had a hard time picking up her parents in my verse. But in the end it didn't really mattered because she ends up being adopted.
• Her spots on her face aren't the same. in one side there are three, and in the other one there are four.
• Kuutisha and Sanaa get along very well, to the point that they both are some sort of partners in crime. The duo definitely gives Baraka's early grey hairs.
• Unknown for little Sanaa she has two powerful, royal bloodlines tied to her by her father's side; the Dãm royal line and the Nisha royal line of healers. Evidence of these trails are found in the form of her paw spots and the small blonde mark on the back of neck shaped as a diamond. However, unless someone knowledgeable about these themes tell her directly she would always remain in the dark about these matters.
