Morder was the child of two highly religious parents of the church of Amoeba. He initially was the perfect child for them, being the epitome of their Gods ideals, and was what one would call a Golden Child. This was until he stumbled upon a being known as 'Radiolaria', who managed to convince the small child that he was a subordinate to God the boy had been worshipping, and befriended him.
This being was able to convince the child that he was dying from an illness, which was truly caused by *Radiolaria*'s powers, and that the only way to save his life was to accept his "power" and be "saved". Their God did have a specific fixation on purity and the saving of the damned, so Morder accepted. Unbenknownst to him, he instead was marked by this being and taken as his ward.
*Radiolaria* wiped Morders memories and instead made him believe that he was his son. The powers that *Radiolaria* had granted Morder though, gave way to a second being inside of Morder. This second being acted as a constant negative influence to him, and slowly began to corrupt him until he became unreconizeable to even his parents. Despite their frantic attempts to exorcise and save their son, they couldnt overpower what had claimed their son. He managed to escape by the skin of his teeth, and now lives to help his "Father" and help him regain his power.

- Radiolaria then convinces Morder to accept his powers, creating a new voice inside of his head and corrupting him.
- Morder's parents try to save him, but fail to do so, and he now lives out his life trying to revive his "Father".
The two met when she stumbled upon him, and dragged him home to take care of him. At first he hated her and was essentially a rabid cat, but soon grew close to her and they have been close friends ever since, even if the two no longer live together. Morder is extremely protective over her, and Claire is the same to him. They have a purely, and very obvious, sibling relationsip.
