Lupin

A mer that was kidnapped from the sea and held captive in a laboratory (Kelledy Labs). He was studied for years and during that time (around five years into his captivity) his DNA was grafted onto the recently kidnapped Sara to change her into a mer. He lives in kelp forests near the harbor, which is why he has a similar appearance to kelp.
