BASICS
NOTES
sapient descendants of felis lybica, the african wildcat.
unlike their ancestors, they aren't obligate carnivores, though they do mainly eat meat.
ooc note: humans did not exist on this version of earth. gaians are shown using english for convenience; pretend it's just a translation of their actual language (this is not the case for other species because gaians *are* meant to be an equivalent to humans).

BASICS
NOTES
unlike their triploid relatives, magmirawi are hexaploid and do not have sexes at all - any two individuals can reproduce.
their short fur is partially modified into hard scales, imitating the rocks common in their native environment. the scales are mainly defensive, but the scale-covered ovipositors on their tails can also be used as weapons.
magmirawi are far from the top of the food chain, though their intelligence tends to keep them safe from their natural predators.

BASICS
NOTES
thanks to sehali's low gravity and high air density, virei are able to fly without being particularly specialized for it.
their entire bodies are covered in smooth skin, including the wings and hair, which are actually mostly analogous; virei can at least partially move their hair. its underside also functions as their ears.
virei didn't have the chance to reach space on their own, being dragged into an interstellar conflict as a casualty.
