Cataclysm

He was originally from Moral but travels around the islands. He's been collecting auras. Not necessarily for power, but he was cursed with having to feed off them or he'd die of starvation. Food does nothing but merely delay. Some cases have gotten so close that he's nearly killed individuals. (Bro literally sucks the life out of you)

He's found a simpler way to do this more recently. Find a loving partner and feed off of them until they die. And don't try to intervene, he will end you.
