Calder is the personal assistant of Siren Valdivian, an incredibly wealthy business woman and part of the mainline Valdivian family. He spends most of his time running errands, keeping schedules, and helping maintain Ms. Valdivian's personal life and business. He went to school for business and had trouble finding a job in his field, and eventually fell into working for the Valdivians.

Relationship

Calder is in a complicated relationship with Martin Willoughby, the eldest son of the Willoughby family, who own and operate the Tibeskwil Bridge. Martin is the unwilling object of Siren Valdivian's affections, in spite of their age gap and Siren's being married with two children. Calder caught on to Martin's discomfort almost immediately, and the two struck up a friendly but flirtatious relationship. They began a secret relationship not long after, sneaking around the Bridge to see one another. They've kept their relationship a secret not just because Calder's boss is a client, but also becasue the Bridge is incredibly reliant on funding from the Valdivians. Martin fears that if any word gets out, Siren will be offended and retract financial support from the Bridge in retliation, sending his family's business into bankruptcy.

Calder and Martin have been together for the past year and a half without anyone finding out, but they were recently caught by Martin's sister Emmeryn and her friends kissing in the pantry. It's caused a rift in their relationship that they're working on mending. Calder is looking for commitment after all of the time that he and Martin have spent together, and Martin's reluctance to make things more offical has him second guessing their relationship. However, he's determined to try and make things work between the two of them.

Trivia

• Calder wants to be an event planner. He hopes that once the Bridge is more stable, he can work there.
• Calder has two sisters and three nephews. His older sister Pasha has 3 sons. His younger sister Marielle is in college.
• Calder has a gray and white maine coon cat named Alphonse, who currently lives with Calder's parents while he's with the Valdivians. He usually refers to him as his son.
• Calder has a soft spot for Siren's son, Patyr. He often helps him with his chores and homework.
• Calder doesn't like how he looks in his glasses, so he almost always wears contacts.
• Calder likes numbers and lists and is very good at math.
