⪢ Backstory ) (wip) Shortly after Shizuka was born, her mother became very ill. Her father blamed her for this, and treated her like a burden or pest, though her brother often defended her from their father’s anger. At one point, she became friends with another yokai by the name of Sachie, who was unfortunately a bit of a coward; in a fight with rifthounds, Sachie bailed to save her own life, leaving Shizuka to nearly die. After this incident, she decided not to trust anyone again.
