Is he a book, or a house? Or a puppet?
The self-styled butler looks like a little grey devil puppet, small horns tucking from his black hair and dainty cloven hooves. The large violet tome that made up his physical self floated behind Cass calmly, occasionally tilting in place, opening a fraction and the pages riffled as if someone was looking through them.
