Hyde is apart of the Cosmodic army like the rest of his group, but his role is not being a basic soldier like the others. Instead he spends his time mostly in the lab conducting experiments on innocent civilians and others of the like. Hes mostly on the quiet side, being very easy to annoy, he's the most mature person in the group. He has a smoking addiction to the point of always being seen with a cigarette in his mouth. This could be because of his high stress levels.

He joined the army due to promises that they could cover his college tuition after he served, though this would never end up happening. He became friends with the group due to meeting Artemis one day while trying to get more aquatinted with the base he resides in. Artemis then invited him to come meet the rest of the group, and he's been apart of the group ever since. Hyde is the oldest member in the group, joining the army at 18 and has now been in the army for 3 years. 

Roxy enjoys giving him really stupid ass buttons to put on his "dull" outfits, according to Roxy they're dull of course.
