Majesty's Links
Majesty has NEVER had an actual friend before, and it shows. Since finally being presented the opportunity to develop a bond with someone outside of work, he’s become hopelessly and visibly attached to Melly, constantly showering her in exaggerated affection and praise. He’s just so excited! He’s supposed to pretend the two don’t know each other when they’re back in Hell, but just how is he expected to manage that when he adores his new friend so much? He’s also weirdly obsessed with her ears and tail for some reason, maybe to an awkward extent.
Since becoming unexpected co-workers beneath Midas, Melly has found that Majesty is one of the few individuals she may just be comfortable with openly referring to as a friend. It’s less because she’s fond of him, however, and more because he’s just so goofy and idiotic that even she can cut him some slack. She still makes fun of him at every available opportunity (and there are a LOT of opportunities), but her responses to his overwhelming affection and general company are far less violent than the norm.
Back when Majesty served as Midas’ personal assistant and advisor in Hell, he was especially fond of his superior and eagerly supported his values and goals. Despite having since been banished to exist among humans, Majesty’s feelings haven’t changed in the slightest—he is, in the simplest of terms, a big fat simp when it comes to his former boss, and has no issue betraying the entirety of Hell if it means getting to serve him again.
Back when Midas ruled in Hell, Majesty was his personal assistant and greatest asset. Now, despite his longtime banishment, he’s eager to reclaim this relationship and put Majesty back to work as if nothing’s changed. It’s difficult for Midas to feel anything too deep when it comes to those he surrounds himself with, but it would be a lie to claim Majesty doesn’t have every ounce of his trust, and there’s very rarely any ill will or turmoil between them.
