People who meet Mi come away unimpressed with their less than friendly demeanor. Their primary focus lies squarely on their own needs and desires, often disregarding any irrelevant persons. While Mi can be cordial when the situation requires it, they prefer to not get tangled up in friendships.

Background

Mi often dampens the mood, but their tumultuous upbringing in the foster care system has given them little desire to put down roots. Constantly shifting from one place to another made them wary of losing friends along the way, so they'd rather not bother. They don't really see the point in getting to know someone when it's not going to last longer than a few months.

Self-sufficiency has become intrinsic to Mi. They adamantly reject interference, believing others would only complicate matters if they attempted to "help." Mi prefers managing their school work, appointments, and basic necessities independently whenever possible.

Earth

Receiving an invitation to Night Raven College initially filled Mi with joy—an opportunity to join a prestigious institution promising their own housing and a stellar addition to their resume. However, their journey took an unexpected turn. Instead of arriving at the school, Mi found themselves awakening on Earth, clad in someone else's clothes.

The individual they replaced was named Yuu, vanishing as mysteriously as Mi appeared in their stead. In a frantic state, Mi adopted Yuu's identity, a seamless transition made possible by their remarkably similar features, despite differing hair and eye color.

Realizing the absence of magic on Earth, Mi began covertly researching the history of witchcraft in the hopes of finding some true magic mixed in with the folklore so they could find a way home. Over time, Mi's determination to return home waned as they grew closer to Yuu's parents. Even after finding out Mi's true identity, Yuu's parents embraced Mi as their own, showering them with love and acceptance.

However, they are still desperate to find their missing child and plead with Mi to use magic to make it possible. A dilemma looms for Mi, for if they help Yuu to returnn then they may lose the family they only just got.
