Profile

One of the most powerful of the newer Wraith Spirits, Myte's lack of eyes and the need to have stitched its bone cover back on never stopped it from going on massacres, burning villages with magic if it feels just slightly dissatisfied with how things were run. It's very difficult to contain, using echolocation and magic sensing to get around with ease and avoid many incoming attacks. However, it always feels more powerful once it has a host body, as then it gains vision through their eyes. Myte still lets the host's soul control the body for the most part, but once things stop going its way, it's not afraid to interfere and cause problems.

When Nord was born, Skyfall sensed a wraith presence around him - Myte had found the newborn to be quite powerful and decided to use him as its host even before he had time to fully adapt to the new life. So, since Nord was abandoned by his birth mother, Skyfall decided to take him and raise him with Andromen, hoping to also keep Myte at bay. She didn't sense which wraith it was, but knowing that Myte was out in the wild she decided to take no chances. She believed she could raise Nord to control himself and Myte to an extent.

To Myte's annoyance, it was working. Nord was very powerful - his magic was strong, and at any time Myte could tap into it and strengthen it even more, but he rarely used it for any sort of destruction, let alone to take another life. That was Skyfall's teaching, to keep the inner world calmer and not allow the wraith to take control too much. Myte found that, whatever she was doing, was eventually starting to calm its urges and it was less inclined to try use its host for bad.

When Nord came of age, she revealed to him why she'd taken him in so willingly. Myte had grown a weird almost fondness of them both, and decided to reveal itself to them. It found it didn't have the same aggressive tone anymore, and the three had a good conversation about how to take things from here. Myte decided to stay in Nord - if he ever needed, he could tap into Myte's power and deal with the threats at hand. Myte became quite fond of the inner conversations it had with Nord when they were alone, and let Nord control himself, choosing to watch the world go by through his eyes, lending its power only when necessary.
