tired™ but tries to hide it, observent, affectionate, trickster, mysterious, Tends to panic/annoy easily, overly protective of things/people he likes.
Magic:
he is a proficient shadow magic user. though he is less powerful than Lathyrus, he can do a few pretty useful tricks to get out of situations or confuse whoever’s getting on his bad side.
The most he does is just messing with the light of the area he’s in however.
Post-goner(?) his magic is a lot more chaotic and sometimes can be even more powerful than Lathyrus if he’s pushed too hard emotionally.
Backstory Summary:
Vernus is a beanish that lived somewhere outside of the beanbean kingdom with his younger brother Sinder, and their parents at the time.
One night, while everyone else was asleep. Vernus, in a mix of insomnia and just wanting to be alone for a while, decided to explore the forest near his family’s home. Leading to him somehow finding Gaster? Idk.
the two talk for a bit, Gaster telling him about the whole ‘multiverse’ thing (which Vernus is surprisingly fine with? Kinda? Idk I’ll probably change this in the future-) and Vernus telling him some things about himself.
The two make a deal, which seeing how the beanish is right now… didn’t really go too well. Leading him to be forgotten by Sinder and pretty much everyone in his family.
Currently, Vernus is stuck traveling through the depths, though sometimes he is able to leave it to explore the outside world and meet other people.
