Quirk

Hifumi’s quirk is called Legal Hand (和がり Agari), 

is based on psionic energy manipulation trough probability, affecting both her rivals luck and her own.

Based on each situation, she will take one of the thirteen mahjong tiles that she picks randomly every day with the intention of doing an specific move, being able to fail if the tile that she picks has a symbol or minor number as the one she expected.

This has different reactions, may cause climatological changes or the breakage of a near object, similar to the butterfly effect.

She uses Mahjong tiles as a support object, this aren’t needed for her quirk to work but she has emotional attachment toward them, being a useful help for the correct direction of the chaotic energy that her quirk’s produce.

Bio

She comes from a family with very common and not so useful quirks, having sloppy jobs make her family to move cities repeatedly when she was little, in that time she wasn’t able to make friends and she started to draw into herself.

While other kids at her age were already boasting about their quirks she could barely show anything impressive; when she arrived elementary school she didn’t known how to socialize and didn’t have any friends so their classmates started to bully her, she tries to hide it from their parents that were always working to not worry them.

Time later a new girl came to the school, Senda itsumi, a extremely nice and hearty girl that became popular fast; she felt sorry for how they were treating Hifumi and started to get along with her, she was Hifumi’s first friend and the one that teach her how to play mahjong, they spend a lot of time together in the library after school, this became a comfort place for them both until some of their classmates discovered it and also started to bully Senda.

[TW] She tries to protect Hifumi receiving all of their classmates abuse herself; this go down in the moment that Senda thought that the best for the abuse to stop was taking her own life, jumping from the roof of the school building in front of everyone, Hifumi wasn’t able to make anything to try to stop her only friend’s death.

This was a huge trauma for her, so she stopped going to school for almost a year, studying in her own house; in that time she planned her life from start to finish, creating a role and deciding that she was going to be different of she was before, she decides to become a hero and focuses on using her quirk for help civilians, supporting on the mahjong game, she changes a big part of her appearance and personality, now being more cheerful and energetic, trying to forget how she was in the past.

Trivia 

She’s a fancharacter of the series My Hero Academia.

The colored highlights(Red, Blue and Green) in her hair are dyed and represent the mahjong tiles colors.

The barrette in her hair was a gift for Senda, she still uses it.

She tends to use silly phrases related to mahjong moves or haikus.

Her eyesight is very poor and she uses to wear glasses all the time, now she wear contact lenses.

She’s one year older of the rest of the first year student because of the time she spend out of school.

Take in mind that Senda and Hifumi were a lot younger when they were friends, so drawing them together without anything spiritual involved needs to have them both wearing a school uniform, and Hifumi wearing big glasses and having two braids; also her personality used to be very different.
