LORE TIME!! 

Rapid was always a lone cat, even growing up in the harsh mountain regions she lived in, but it all changed when she met a poor kitten lost in the dark forest and helped them into the clan. She has further since adopted this kitten as her own, and gave them the name "Icy", for their cold disposition, while also slightly naming them after her. She doesn't think he minds, though. 

She was the first of the bunch to adopt a kitten, but it has such been a custom in the clan to adopt stray kittens because of her.
