She has been informed of potentially lucrative land that sits undeveloped in a small ghost town. Though acquiring it seems like it's bound to generate a lot of trouble, as the largest parcel is owned by the Hammermill family, who's patriarch is long dead, allegedly murdered by his heir and rightful owner of the land Joe desperately wants, Valentine Hammermill.
Joe is a vicious butch woman, she is terribly proud of surviving a cougar attack in her youth, though it seems to have left her with deep scarring and a permanent limp, she has brought her son on this business venture, he has been foisted upon her via her joint custody agreement with her Rival
