Cardinal Protection&Dove Roost

Cardinal Protection and Dove Roost are ponified versions of Alex Murphy (Robocop) and Anne Lewis respectively. Both of their names and cutie marks revolve around protection. Cardinal's (a play on the term "cardinal direction") is based around protecting the innocent, as well as his inherent love for his family. Dove's has three meanings, one to have it sound like her human name (kind of), two because doves mate/partner for life, as she continues to be Cardinal's partner after death, and the third being that, since doves symbolize peace, her talent is in keeping peace in her home (roost).

Their relationship is the same as in the series (we disregard what happens to Lewis in the third movie). I also like their relationship in the original animated series 🥺 (I will also explain it here in case people aren't familiar and probably aren't). 

Cardinal and Dove worked pretty well as partners in the police force, if only for a short time. After Cardinal is killed in action, he is reborn as Robocop, a shell of his former self. As he struggles with bits of old memories they tried to erase, Dove stays by his side as his partner, and most certainly his friend. Dove is constantly at odds with the scentists and higher ups that consider him not a pony anymore, sticking up for Cardinal. Even when off duty Robo will spend time with Dove, as she re-introduces him to what life has to offer. In Robos eyes, Dove is the pony he's closest to. (Side note, not romantically, I enjoy them as just close friends ^^)
