One of the members of Deadringer's old outlaw gang before he was killed, and one of Deadringer's partners. Softear is largely a background character even within their own myth.

Personality
Not much is known about what Softear's personality was like. In most legends, they are described as being soft in character, content to let others lead and often had a quiet voice, but could sometimes become very intense, a disconcerting shift from their usual personality.

It is assumed that Softear adored the desert, given that in several myths they are given the option to leave, and every time refuse.
Deadringer . [ partner ] Softear was said to act as a confidant and guiding voice to Deadringer, someone to counteract his brash nature. They may have led Deadringer to his death.
Missingeye . [ partner ] In legend, the two were gentle and caring towards one another, the both of them on slightly more equal footing than they were with Deadringer.
