Living on the forest floor of a mega-temperate rainforest in what was once British Columbia, Yael has always been a lover of nature.  She enjoys  hiking, cats, embroidery and reading trashy science fiction (though she  keeps that a secret).  They’re quick-witted, very blunt and have a lot of trouble expressing their emotions outwardly which leads to a lot of  people thinking she doesn’t like them.  They meet Cecilia when she falls from an emergent layer city, and take it upon themself to guide Cecilia  through the forest back home.
