Background / Personality Layout
A kit, grown up under the beliefs that a lady should always be prim and proper, courteous and caring. Naturally curious of the world around her, Pristinekit is raised by a single mother; Pansypetal. Loved, yes, but held apart and under certain expectations. See here, it's nothing drastic. Her mother just expects her to always be at her best, and that's okay with Pristinekit. It's her whole life, being the best kit she can be for her lone relative, her mother.
Of course, no kit is perfect. Pristinekit is still naturally curious about her peers -- even moreso when she meets Wingkit. Rebellious, snarky, and full of mischief, Wingkit has a sense of freedom Pristinekit cannot understand. How come Wingkit can be so rough around the edges, and she cannot? It doesn't make sense, but that won't hinder Pristinekit from trailing after her denmate wherever he goes.
Before long, Pristinekit has befriended Wingkit -- whether he appreciates her constant company or not. Pristinekit's mother naturally disapproves of the friendship, but the little she-kit doesn't pay much attention. She doesn't think it's that bad. So what if she saw Wingkit stuff moss into a fish on a fresh kill pile? It's just a joke, no? So what if Wingkit doesn't keep his fur constantly groomed like Pristinekit's own mother is always nagging her about? It doesn't really affect anything -- no one chides Wingkit for it, after all. That must mean it's okay...
Time wears on, and Pristinekit continues to shun her mother's concerns. She wants to have fun too! Apprenticeship starts, and Pristinepaw at this point is completely ignoring her mother's constant fussing. Her mother is worried -- and disheartened, and feeling betrayed, that her own (her only) kin has brushed her off so easily and so fast. Especially after all the struggle Pristinepaw's mother has gone through to get her daughter to RiverClan, to raise her daughter in a good life. Pristinepaw is blissfully unaware of the sacrifices her mother had to make for her sake.
So it comes as a complete surprise when her mother, in one last desperate attempt to regain her daughter's attentions, suddenly springs and ultimatum on her - either unfriend the now Wingpaw, or be disowned. And Pristinepaw... well, she panics. She loves her mother. Once, her mother had been her whole world, and if she doesn't act fast, her mother will abandon her completely. Pristinepaw isn't ready for that. She doesn't want to be seperated from her mother, her idol.
Pristinepaw grows detached, she ignores Wingpaw, she moves her nest away, she openly scorns him, maybe even picks on him, finds a new group of friends, in hopes to regain her mother's favor.
Sure, she may not like treating Wingpaw in such a way, especially considering how close they had been, but she has no choice. Sure, she feels lonelier than ever now, without Wingpaw's friendship and under her mother's ever-scrutinizing gaze, but what else is she to do except continue on with her apprenticeship and make her way to warriorhood?

Timeline
Pansypetal (insert outsider name), her mate (insert name), and Lotuspaw (Lotus?) are wandering loners/travelers.
Lotus is [Pansypetal’s Mate]’s younger sibling. Pansypetal is pregnant around this time with the unborn Pristinekit.
Lotus somehow gets severely injured. The blood attracts a predator (or hostile other cats), and while Pansypetal and Lotuspaw are making their way to safety, [Pansypetal’s Mate] gets ‘killed’. (Whether he’s dead or survived ill decide later)
Pansypetal and Lotuspaw join RC, and because Pansypetal blames Lotuspaw for her mate’s ‘death’, she threatens Lotuspaw to keep away from Pristinekit when she’s born.
Pristinekit is wholly unaware that Lotuspaw is her auncle. As far as she knows, her only family is Pansypetal, who keeps tight lips about anything to do with her past/Pristine’s father. Lotuspaw goes missing.
Pristinekit befriends Wingkit and Honeykit.

While Whisperingpaw has made a lasting first-impression on Pristinepaw, she's not sure he likes her very much. Regardless, if he ever does decide to open up, Pristinepaw would love to be his friend. Pristinepaw met Whisperingpaw at a Gathering, alongside Stempaw.
