Lev is a professional Mountaineer who runs his own independent search and rescue. He lives in a rural log cabin near Mt. Elbrus, Russia, and will often save tourists who come to hike but end up getting lost in a snowdrift or any other treacherous parts of the place he calls home. He's sometimes mistaken for a yeti because he's so large and lumbers around covered in snow half the time. He carries an ice pick with him at all times.

Lev is pretty much the definition of a gentle giant. He’s either polite or nearly overbearingly friendly to EVERYONE he meets, and sports a soft and quiet voice that doesn’t seem to match his exterior. That being said, he’s not always the best at socializing even if he means well. Despite severe language barriers, he still tries! Lev has a strong desire to help others and make sure all of his peers and acquaintances are feeling well and happy; he’ll stop at very little to ensure this is the case.
- Fairly importantly, he's a vampire!! (In most timelines). Drinking the blood of humans makes him feel very, VERY bad, though- he's a tenderhearted soul, of course. This has led to him largely surviving off of animal blood (they're always left well and alive), or MAYBE a very willing human participant if he can find one. He doesn't want to be seen as a monster.
  - In the universe my OCs are in, vampires are *able* to eat other things even if they don't sustain him as well, so he has a lot of potatoes and fish too. In timelines where he's a regular human this is pretty much all he ever eats. Potatoes, fish, potato soup, fish soup.

He has a very tender heart, and at times can be extremely sensitive. That being said, nothing brings him greater joy than knowing he’s brought somebody else joy! He has a big obsession with potatoes, and likes to knit blankets for his favorites. His favorite potatoes. He'll tell someone about his potatoes all day if they'll listen.

Is always completely covered by thick and comfortable winter clothing, regardless of what the weather is; he'll even have all that on if he's inside! This includes a visor/snow goggles, and a mask to cover his face. There is seldom a bit of skin showing- this helps him rescuing people during the day, because the sun won't harm him so strongly! He also is just kinda like that.
- That being said, he's not SHY about showing his face. Sometimes he just forgets what he's wearing and takes a boomer-angle picture of himself in full gear, expecting people to know what his expression is.

Lev doesn't really understand technology much. He (somehow) got internet installed at his cabin and has very bad connection. He accidentally got roped into a Christian Moms group on Facebook, and seems to think it's pretty fun. He gets a lot of his vocabulary and sentiments from here, but jumbles them up into their own thing - he also likes to share images he finds there, mostly very low pixel greetings!
- He also doesn't understand the point of emojis sometimes. He thinks '😂' is to be used when one is very very sad and crying. In literally every message he sends anyone, Lev ends the text with a nice little 'gift' of whatever emoji he thinks represents something the person would like to have. This is hit or miss.
