Stoic, intelligent, poised and precise, Ailith is a bounty hunter who takes on hazardous errands in order to make a living. Formally a soldier in her region, she abandoned her unit over moral conflicts, though does not regard herself virtuous by any stretch. She is stringent and serious, and conducts herself only as far as she deems practical, though that’s not to say she doesn’t feel anything at all, she’s just incredibly good at compartmentalizing her own feelings from her actions, thus filtering out almost all possibilities of emotionally charged behavior. It is unusual to see her emote - expressions of disappointment, frustration, or disgust are typically stated plainly, rather than conveyed through her face, tone, or body language. She won’t dismiss other’s emotions, she understands the practical use for them, she just has trouble experiencing them the same way most do, and thus may come off as incredibly robotic.

Aelith firmly believes in doing things correctly, making her a swift tactician. She doesn’t enjoy violence, but her personal policy ("do as you must") will always override any doubts she might have about her responsibilities. She will take on the jobs most try to avoid, so long as it falls within her own code of conduct - she has hesitated on the most morally difficult ones, but if one person has to die to prevent the deaths of several others, so be it. In other words, she pulls the lever on the trolley problem.

She is surprisingly patient and understanding for someone who struggles to connect with people on a personal level. There’s a gentle, almost paternal quality to her. Though a competent leader, she prefers working alone - due to her strong and governed presence, she easily becomes a strong influence on others, and she doesn’t want to create dependents. In spite of this, she can’t help but be protective of the few she does hold dear.
