Changing of Days

changing of days/helleth- the youngest deity, an artificial life form accidentally created by lupinetooth. deity of chaos, turmoil, and change. it has no standard form, but instead, switches through many different ones rapidly, often taking on forms of cats both currently living and deceased. remaining in Helleth's presence for too long, or ingesting any part from it, causes mutations in living creatures, as seen in the scattered remnants of the cult that summoned it.

when it had amassed enough power, the young hero Breadcrumb was sent to challenge it, as the prophecy said eons prior. finding himself to agree with the deity's ideals, and angry at how the gods wanted him to be a martyr, Breadcrumb allowed the Calamity to pass.

Helleth dispelled the notions of the past, making the ferraen more inclined towards community over individuality, and turning the Event Horizon in the far north into a portal that led to other, random worlds. the Calamity took most of its energy and it is now slumbering in the realm of the gods, recharging.
