About
Spectre of the Imbroglio, Gravedigger was abandoned to its labyrinthian halls as a very young kit, and so this is now all it knows. Though most kits perish early on within the Imbroglio Gravedigger did not, and has come out of it changed. An eerie ghost of a ferraen, travelers sometimes speak of a brown shadow lurking behind them and a set of burning amber eyes watching them wherever they go, waiting for a single misstep...

Personality
A life of living in the Imbroglio without any exposure to other ferraen has left Gravedigger reclusive, paranoid, and occasionally even anthropophobic. It often does not speak, nor emote, and any (successful) interactions with other ferraen usually consist of Gravedigger standing and staring blankly ahead. It is fiercely loyal to the Imbroglio and any attempts to "help" Gravedigger by getting it out of the city often leaves the other ferraen bloodied and broken. It believes the Imbroglio to be its savior and will do anything if it believes the city demands it of it.

History
Chosen by the Imbroglio to carry out the living city's will, Gravedigger has foregone all ties and potential relationships with other ferraen in order to carry out this deeply important task. [ Read more ]
{ survival }
Occasionally, while rare, kits are left to the whims of the Imbroglio. Abandoned or left behind, by parents still-living who deemed their offspring unfit or by divers lost to the maze of this artificial biome, Gravedigger has never known which one xe fell under. It's also never been a question xe has particularly bothered xeself with spending much time considering.
The first few years of Gravedigger's life was focused on pure survival. The Imbroglio is harsh to even its adult denizens, and even crueler to its youth. Most orphans of the Imbroglio don't make it to adulthood, much less beyond, and Gravedigger very nearly did not make it several times, barely managing to pull through with sheer luck, skill, and ocassionally raw desperation. Though xe still considered xeself ferraen during this time, xe was flighty and standoffish to any adult divers, a valid trait considering the few xe did run into would often try and trick Gravedigger out of the supplies xe needed to survive.
{ mural }
Slowly, Gravedigger reached adulthood, and began to not just survive within the Imbroglio but to actively thrive. The skill at which xe was able to weave in and throughout the twisting labyrinth spoke of years of practice, easily able to dodge the constructs and to avoid the more abyssal horrors that lurk deep within. Xe began to delve deeper and deeper, letting xem paws take xe deeper and deeper into depths no living ferraen had made it before, discovering horrors and wonders in equal measure.
Xe's last discovery, as if guided to this very spot by the Imbroglio itself, was of a tiny hidden and derelict room hidden buried beneath cobble and earth of a vast and expansive circular carved mural, encompassing the entire history of Enurian, past present and future. Directly at the center, seperated by crevasses, was a carving of Gravedigger's own face staring back at xem. Terrified, xe fled the room and returned to the surface, leaving the future section of the mural unread.
{ zealot }
Since discovering the mural, Gravedigger's head has been filled with the whispers of the Imbroglio. Believing itself to be chosen by the city for its perserverence and tenacity for a duty of a higher calling, Gravedigger slowly began to do as the Imbroglio commanded, becoming the silent warden and ward of the Imbroglio.
Relations
The Imbroglio
savior and warden
Gravedigger loves its city, and the city loves it back. Bordering on the intensity of a romantic relationship, though one with an extreme power imbalance given one is a living city and the other is a tiny ferraen.
Dawnscript . [ ??? ] Gravedigger has mixed feelings about the presence of Dawnscript. On one hand, they always seem to be sticking their nose in places where they don't belong. On the other, she is remarkably respectful for an interloper and occasionally Gravedigger can admit to enjoying her company.
