Lacewing

Lacewing is a SilkWing OC of mine, who has become pretty recognizable as his likeness has gone viral as a major character in my "Snowfall Meets a SilkWing" and "SilkWing Invasion" memes, that got 100k and 20k views respectively. He was the first SilkWing I have ever drawn, and the meme he was in is the reason I have a lot of my friends/followers, so he is very special to me.

He doesn't have much of an interesting backstory, he most likely left the other SilkWings when they arrived in Phyrria, because he was too intent on exploring and meeting other dragons. He is very socially awkward, but also very extroverted, which makes him a bit overwhelming and annoying/jarring to some. He is a friendly and goofy guy, and doesn't have a bad bone in his body.

Description

Lacewing is a SilkWing, relatively typical in build, being slender, short, and graceful-looking. He has magenta scales, with darker violet hues along his back, and paler magenta-orange tertiary colors. His underscales are a pale yellow, similar to the flesh of a ripe banana, and his shoulders are magenta, but it fades into lighter and pinker colors on his wings. His horns and spines are dark blue, along with some rounded stripes and spots on his body, while his eyes are a dull crimson color. His wings are primarily pale yellow and peach-colored, but they have more purple towards the base and dark blue spots on his larger wings, and violet spots on his smaller wings.
