oleander used to be human. now he is a being cursed with an infinite rebirth into ever-shifting chimerical forms, as punishment for his desperate attempt to remake himself into a god or angel. whenever it is injured, its body is reshaped, in a hideous, painful parody of metamorphosis. he can find no peace in death, instead living a tortured existence as time stretches on endlessly.

yes, given half a chance. yes.its original quest for divinity, borne out of a desire to free the ones it loved from their suffering, has become transformed into a commitment to dole out judgement against the deities that inflicted this pain upon it - by any means necessary.
